To begin, every religion is organized or it wouldn't be a religion. The primary function of any religion, big or small, is to organize people within a common set of beliefs and practices regarding how they should best live in harmony, both with each other and with whatever divine power they believe in. Religions present a framework of values and virtues which guide their adherents from birth to death. Divine power encompasses or is a code word for all that exists, past, present and future in the entire universe, especially the natural environment inhabited by all humans. In their role of unifying people religions strive to include everyone so that a peaceful enlightened world may be achieved.
