Even though by the power of the Spirit we accept death in Christ it is still terrible; for by death, we are stripped of all that attached us to the things of this world; and it is the more terrible, the more we have allowed ourselves to be attached to them.

Death is feared by many as it is the end to our earthly life, separates us from all we have been attached to in this life. But we all must someday face it, medical doctors may help you delay death but are never able to stop it one day. But as earthly beings we cannot be overwelmed by the fact we will someday not be here just as our parents had to face too. However christianity also can give hope that we take a new form in life after death.
